HELP WITH THE WORK WAITING ON YOU

The client said yes. Why is everyone still waiting?

You won the work. Now you are chasing files, explaining what was sold and answering the same questions. Borne helps bring the agreed scope, missing details and next steps together so your team has something clear to review and use.

Start with my $197 First Win

Fit, scope and delivery date agreed before payment.

Does this sound familiar?

The client thinks things are moving. Your team is waiting for details. You are back in the email thread trying to join it all up. Start with one recent client kickoff or a similar moment when a sale needs to become a clear plan for the people doing the work.

WHAT YOU BRING

Start with what you already have.

  • The agreed scope and deliverables, including revision limits.
  • Relevant client messages, intake details and supplied assets.
  • Your kickoff checklist, dates and the people responsible for approval.

Share only information you have permission to use. Remove identifying details from an initial example. See our access and information controls.

WHAT YOU CAN REVIEW AND USE

The details together. A next step ready.

What the team needs to start
The agreed work, supplied materials and who handles the next step, together in one brief.
The client reply, drafted
A welcome message explaining what happens next and asking for the details still missing, ready for review.
What still needs a decision
Extra requests and missing information called out before your team promises more work or a start date.

FICTIONAL WORKED EXAMPLE

See what that looks like.

One landing page is agreed. The client supplies a logo and copy, asks for a second page, and has not supplied analytics access.

See the request and the result
PROPOSED MESSAGE · NOT SENT
Thanks for sending the logo and product copy. The signed scope covers one landing page. Please send analytics access so we can confirm the kickoff. We can discuss a separate scope for the second page.

You make this call.

Your team decides whether to quote the second page. The draft does not add it to the agreement or promise a start before the missing access is resolved.

Before you hand it over.

Will Borne contact the client automatically?

The First Win prepares work for review. Sending messages, granting access or changing an agreement requires separately agreed authority and a supported process.

What if the client’s messages conflict with the scope?

We identify the difference and prepare a question or scope note. Your authorized approver decides which commitment, if any, changes.

Can this become an ongoing onboarding process?

Yes, if the work is a fit. We separately agree the recurring workflow, supported tools, volume, delivery coverage, review steps and price after the First Win.

START WITH YOUR OWN WORK

What would you like help with first?
