You should know what happens to your information before you share it. Here’s how Borne handles access, preparation and payments—and the choices that stay with you.

HOW THE WORK IS PROTECTED
Clear boundaries. Visible choices.
01
A clear scope before work begins.
You confirm the plan and sign the agreement before paid preparation starts. Automatic draft delivery uses the approved material and checks the agreed scope. Changes and unresolved review findings hold the affected delivery for attention.
02
Drafts stay drafts until you use them.
Automatic draft delivery prepares the work, runs a separate AI review and shares the result in your customer portal. You review it before use. This mode does not send customer messages, publish content, change business systems or spend money.
03
Access follows the request.
Your signed-in account shows requests linked to you. Linking requires the complete private receipt link and a matching account email. Authorized Borne operators can review requests as part of providing the service.
04
Payments go through Stripe.
Payment details are entered on Stripe’s checkout page. Borne stores agreement and payment-status records. Submitting an initial request does not charge you or start a subscription.
BEFORE YOU SHARE
Start small. Share with care.
A redacted example is enough to start the conversation. The request form does not connect your accounts or grant permission for actions in them.
Leave out passwords, API keys, card details, health information, government IDs and confidential client records.
STRAIGHT ANSWERS
Know what you’re agreeing to.
Who processes the information I share?
The initial request is stored with Borne’s hosting service and is available to authorized Borne operators and server checks. Submitting it does not itself call an AI model.
Later, authorized preparation may send the agreed material to Borne’s configured OpenAI service and dedicated server for drafting and checks. AI review can still miss errors; review the result before using it.
Supported connections are arranged within the agreed service. The current Google connection is managed through the approved Borne operating workspace and uses read access. Borne filters imports to a selected mail label and direct files in a selected folder; Google’s granted permissions are broader than those filters.
This connection does not send email or edit Google files. Saved Google access credentials are encrypted. Connecting an account and authorizing automatic preparation are separate choices.
Can I pause work or withdraw access?
You can pause an active automatic draft delivery in your customer portal. Saved results remain available. Pausing does not cancel a provider request already in progress.
For connected sources, pausing imports stops new imports and new automatic delegation; already queued jobs can continue. You can revoke Google access through your Google Account’s connections settings. Pausing or revoking access does not remove information already saved in Borne.
How do I correct or remove my information?
Use Support & information requests to ask for a correction or removal. Borne verifies your authority before disclosing, changing or removing another record. Submitted requests and imported sources do not automatically expire in this version.
The support form gives you a private link for updates. Keep that link; submitting the form does not send an email notification.
